Club Nights

Club Nights run every Tuesday at 5.45pm - 7.30pm from October to March, with a small break over Christmas and New Year. We ask that athletes arrive by 5.45 for check-in and a briefing for the night and events start at 6.00pm.

Volunteers - We need you !

The success of our club nights rely on the help and support of parents and families. The committee would love to see as many parents as we can join forces and help us deliver our fun and educational athletics programme for all the kids.

We have a number of roles we are looking to fill, and a full overview will be given about what each role entails.

Roles

Age Grade Liaisons - Supervise and accompany an age grade around for the evening, ensuring the kids adhere to safety measures at events as well as assisting in the event recording. An easy way to see your childs events as well as contributing to a smooth night.

Station Hands - helpers for the specific events - Long Jump, Discus, Shot Put, High Jump, Starter and Finish Line.

Pack down - assist with packing away of activities and equipment.

Nursery Grade Co-ordinator - Run the nursery grade programme offered for 5-6 year olds. Typically the session runs from 6pm - 7pm.

BBQ - we are keen to bring back the ''Sausage Sizzle' - a great incentive to get the kids to the end of the night.

Things to know

In accordance with our rules of operation, we will require all volunteers to complete a simple registration process to participate in Club nights.
